About my Mustangs
Reinfected with the disease
One of the advantages is of being a teen in the late 70's is that the junk yards were filled with the muscle cars of the 60's and thus dirt cheap.
I was lucky enough to own several now classics cars including 1957 Chevy, 1973 Cougar, 1971 Skylark, 1969 Ford Van and a 1968 and 1969 Mustang.
In the Northeast, most of these cars met their doom due to rust more than any mechanical problem.
Many years later my friend and son had restored a 1968 Mustang. I was re-infected with the Mustang bug and started to look for a project car. I found a 1967 Mustang and began a multi year restoration process.
